Three people were killed after three cars crashed late on Wednesday on one of the main Moscow avenues in the west of the Russian capital, a police source said. “A Volga and Lada cars collided with each other on the Kutuzovsky Avenue and then both crashed into a Mercedes. After the crash a fire engulfed the Volga and Lada cars killing three people,” the source said. He added that those killed were all in the Lada. Policemen are currently establishing the details and the cause of the tragic accident. According to statistics, 30,000 people lose their lives in traffic accidents every year in Russia due to the poor state of highway networks and reckless driving.
