At least 38 Haitian migrants were found dead Saturday and another 87 were rescued after their boat sank just off Cuba's east coast, Cuban television reported, citing civil defense officials. The boat was spotted some 100 meters (yards) off land by the Cuban coast guard, who recovered "38 dead including 21 men and 17 women," the civil defense department said in a statement read on state media. A search continued for more possible survivors.
