At least 42 people were killed early on Tuesday when a bus travelling between Marrakesh and Ouarzazate in southern Morocco plunged into a ravine, a security official said. The accident, which took place when the vehicle came off a main road in Haouz province, also left 25 people injured who were taken to different hospitals in the region, according to a local official. Most of the passengers were thought to be Moroccan but it remained unclear whether there were any foreigners among the victims, with the bodies still being identified.
