An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Kepulauan Babar, Indonesia at 23:21:20 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 178.60 km, was initially determined to be at 7.1157 degrees south latitude and 129.1202 degrees east longitude.
