About six people died and 47 others were injured as a result of traffic accident in Baku’s Karadagh district. The train moving from Aghstafa to Baku collided with Daewoo bus, which was carrying the passengers, in a passage situated in 513 km sequence of Puta-Heybat quarter. 17 emergency medical aid brigades were immediately sent to the site. The injured persons were rendered medical aid by the “103″ service group. Then they were sent to hospital. 35 injured people were sent to Clinic Medical Centre (the state of 8 persons reported to be serious, 2 persons are being operated at the moment), 11 people were sent to Scientific Traumatic Surgery and Orthopedic Institute (10 were allowed to leave after ambulatory medical care) and one person was sent to Central Oilmen Hospital. 28 injured persons are undergoing medical treatment at the moment (26 in the Clinic Medical Centre, one in Traumatic Surgery Institute and one in Central Oilmen Hospital). The bodies of 3 people who died at site were sent to Court Medical Forensic-Enquiry and Pathology Anatomy by the employees of emergency medical aid service. 3 seriously injured people died later (one – on the way to hospital, two – at the hospital). The state of 9 people is reported serious.
