Seven people were killed and four others injured on Thursday in a car crash on a toll road of Indiana state, the Chicago Tribune reported. The police said that a minivan, carrying 10 people, was struck from behind by a semitrailer truck on a toll road in north Indiana. Seven of the people in the minivan were confirmed dead, while three others from the van and the truck driver were hospitalized. The van might have hit a deer and slowed or stopped in a driving lane when the accident happened, according to the police.
