One person was killed, while six others were wounded Sunday in twin bombings in southern Iraqi capital Baghdad.

An explosive charge was placed near a medical complex in Wahida district southern Baghdad on Sunday evening leaving two persons injured, a source was quoted by Iraqi Al Sumaria news channel.

Another explosive charge went off near shops in "Sayed Abdullah" region in southern Baghdad leaving one civilian dead and four others wounded, the source added.
