A pickup truck loaded with 23 people crashed in southern Teas Sunday night, killing at least 11 of them, authorities said. The Ford F-250 super-duty pickup left U.S. 59 near Berclair in Goliad County about 7 p.m. and hit \"two very large trees,\" Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Gerald Bryant said.. The 12 survivors, including a man who said he was the driver, were injured, the San Antonio Express-News reported. A 12th fatality had not been confirmed, the newspaper said. The dead included six passengers inside the truck\'s cab and five who were riding outside, the newspaper said. Bryant said the victims, including some children, had not been identified. The truck was registered to a person in Houston. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
