At least 14 children and a driver were killed when a South African school bus swerved off a road and plunged into a lake on Wednesday, rescue officials said. The bus, carrying nearly 70, crashed close to the southern city of Knysna, about 430 km (260 miles) east of Cape Town. More than 40 have been rescued and were receiving treatment at hospitals for cuts, bruises and mild hypothermia, Reuters reported.
