At least four people were killed and five others injured on Tuesday as a suicide car bomber detonated his explosives near the Somali foreign ministry building, police officer said. \"The car bomb exploded outside the building of the ministry. We know four people died and five others got injured in the explosion. We are investigating,\" Police officer Ali Nur at the scene of the blast told Xinhua. The suicide car bomb explosion hit an opposite building of the ministry and witnesses in the areas said that the target could also be a nearby hotel frequented by Somali government officials. The attack came as two key Kenyan ministers, namely Foreign Minister Moses Watungula and Defense Minister Yusuf Haji, are on a visit to the Somali capital Mogadishu to hold talks with Somali leaders on the latest offensive against Al Shabaab militants across the two countries\' common border in Somalia. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack but Al Shabaab rebel fighters opposed to the government have carried out similar attacks against government targets. The group carried out a deadly suicide truck bomb attack early in the month against a government compound housing a number of ministries including the education ministry where hundreds of students were waiting for the results of a foreign scholarship examination. Dozens were killed in the explosion, most of whom are students and civilians in the areas.
