Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota will embark next Saturday on an official visit to Russia. According to sources at the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow Patriota will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on international problems and development of economic and trade relations between the two countries. The volume of commodities exchange between Brazil and Russia reached during the current year about USD six billion. Brazil exports to Russia food and agricultural goods such as raw sugar, tobacco, coffee, beef, pork and poultry while Russia exports to Brazil mineral fertilizers and diesel fuel.
