Cameroon\'s opposition on Monday said it was rejecting the yet-unannounced results of an October 9 presidential ballot and would call for mass protests if the \"election mascarade\" is not annulled. \"We reject... any results announced by the Constitutional Court,\" top opposition leader John Fru Ndi and six other candidates wrote in a statement. \"In the case that the Constitutional Court refuses to annul this election mascarade and persists with announcing the results, we call.... on the people to come out massively to demonstrate in favour of their right to partake in free and transparent elections.\"
