A cold front will hit north China in the following three days, bringing temperature plunges and snow, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said Thursday. Central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and most of northeastern China will be struck the most, with temperature drops up to 14 degrees Celsius, according to a statement on the the NMC\'s website. Affected by the cold front, regions along the Yangtze, Huaihe and Yellow rivers will also see temperatures fall by six to eight degrees Celsius, the statement said. The NMC forecast the cold air will also bring rain and snow in eastern and central China in the following 24 hours. Heavy snows will sweep northeastern parts of Inner Mongolia, and parts of Chongqing municipality and Guangdong and Hainan provinces will see torrential rains, it said.
