A cold spell will sweep north China, bringing snow and rainfall on the weekend, but the country\'s farming areas will not be affected, said China\'s meteorological authorities on Saturday. Temperatures in the central and eastern parts of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and most parts of northeast China will fall by four to eight degrees Celsius, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said. The cold front will also bring rainfall to the country\'s northeastern and southwestern regions, and some parts of Hainan and Taiwan provinces will get hit by heavy rains, the NMC said. The weather will be fine in north China\'s winter wheat producing areas and late rice producing areas in the country\'s south over the coming three days, according to agrometeorological experts. They also warned farmers in central and northern parts of south China to guard against low temperatures and cold dew wind.
