A supply of fireworks stored in a Pelham, N.H., home ignited and exploded, injuring nine people, including two children, police said. Pelham Fire Lt. Greg Atwood said he didn\'t have information on how the fireworks ignited, nor the type or extent of injuries the nine people sustained from Tuesday\'s explosion, the Boston Globe reported Wednesday. The initial police report indicated \"fireworks blew up in the home and that the house was filled with smoke.\" The fire was extinguished and the nine victims were taken to various hospitals, police said. The fire \"just looked like fireworks, like a large firework,\" Mary Jackson, a neighbor, told the Globe. \"I\'ve never seen anything like it.\" Jackson said the homeowners have put on an Independence Day fireworks display for the neighborhood annually for at least 10 years.
