Police say a truck carrying about 70 villagers in central India has crashed head-on into another truck, killing 10 people including three children and injuring dozens. The truck was driving at night on a road under construction to Madhya Pradesh when it hit the other truck, which was carrying pipes. Police said Wednesday the accident was likely caused by a lack of visibility and poor road conditions. The chief medical officer at the local hospital, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, says 40 people are being treated for injuries, including five in serious condition, according to a report of the Associated Press.
