The Italian Interior Ministry announced that it deported over the past two days 85 illegal immigrants, arrested after arriving in the country illegally. In a statement issued today the ministry said the immigrants who have been deported, belong to different nationalities, particularly Tunisians, Algerians, Nigerians. Italy and Tunisia signed on the fifth of April an agreement allowing the deportation of illegal immigrants. After the signing of the agreement the flow of those seeking to enter Italy from Tunisia stopped , but the waves of illegal immigration has soon renewed.
