Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil started a visit to the Belgian capital Brussels and met with his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders in the presence of Lebanese Minister of Economy Raed Khouri.
Bassil handed over to Reynders a message containing a proposal on holding a conference in Brussels to discuss persecution against minorities in the region after recent meetings in New York, Madrid and Paris.
Bassil's meeting with the Belgian foreign minister also tackled the achievements of the Lebanese army in combating terrorism.
