Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has pardoned four people who were arrested during mass protests last December after the country’s presidential elections. The names of those released were not published. Dozens of protesters were jailed in the months following a rally after Lukashenko won a fourth term. Western observers described the poll as "flawed."
