A man has died after suffering head injuries on Thursday in violent clashes during anti-austerity protests in Athens, Greek media said. The man in his fifties died in hospital. He was wounded on the sidelines of a gathering of 50,000 people outside the Greek parliament as Communist unionists battled with other protesters.
