Mastermind of Barcelona's attacks was not deported

A Spanish news report revealed the Imam accused of masterminding the Barcelona terrorist attacks was ordered to leave Spain after finishing a prison sentence for drugs offences, but he appealed the judgement protesting it would be a be a breach of his human rights.
Abdelbaki Es Satty was told he must comply with an expulsion order when he left jail in April 2014, but the 42-year-old Moroccan won his fight to stay in Spain after taking the case to a judge, Spanish daily El Mundo said.
According to Daily Mail, the judge who made the decision is said to have accepted Es Satty's claims his forced removal would be a breach of his international rights, added the report.
The report said Es Satty, who was reported dead last night, has been blamed for brainwashing the terrorists.
Meanwhile, the Spanish officials did not comment on the claims Es Satty ordered to leave Spain.
