Several people were injured Tuesday in clashes in Guinea\'s capital between police and opposition protesters after they were banned from holding a rally, medics told AFP. At least four people were admitted to hospital after violence erupted in several neighbourhoods of Conakry, with opposition youths throwing stones at police who put down the protests with clubs and tear gas. The opposition has accused President Alpha Conde of mishandling preparations for the December 29 legislative elections.
