German Chancellor Angela Merkel began short visit to Slovenia. Merkel plans to hold talks with Slovenian Prime Minister Porut-Pahor and President Danilo Turk in the capital Ljubljana on the debt problem in the euro area. She will also meet opposition leader Janez Jansa who is expected to become the new prime minister after the early parliamentary elections. Slovenia, one of the European Union’s country’s, is currently suffer from imbalances in the costs of social systems and a budget deficit.
