Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Taib Fassi Fihri and visiting Russian President\'s Special Envoy to Africa Mikhail Margelov held talks on bilateral relations and means of enhancing them, as well as bolstering the political cooperation on regional issues. During a press conference held following the talks, the Moroccan Foreign Minister stressed the two countries\'\' keenness to enhance the political cooperation on the different regional issues. He noted that he discussed with the Russian envoy the situation in the Arab world and Africa, including ways to establish security and stability in Libya. The Moroccan Minister referred to the visit paid by King Mohammed VI of Morocco to Russia recently, which culminated in the signing of a strategic partnership, as well as the visit of former Russian President Vladimir Putin to Casablanca. He noted that the Moroccan-Russian cooperation covers different areas, including fisheries, energy, technology and tourism. Margelov\'\'s visit to Morocco came as part of an African tour that took him to Niger, Mali and Mauritania.
