Robbers in Nigeria shot and killed at least six people, including two police officers, and made off with money from a currency exchange, a witness said. Witness Tayo Adeyeri said he saw eight robbers driving two SUVs storm a currency exchange office in Lagos where they shot workers who resisted the attack Sunday. The attackers took two bags containing local and foreign currencies, the Nigerian newspaper Leadership reported. Adeyeri said he saw four people shot dead in the incident. Lagos police engaged the robbers in a car chase and caught up with them at a bus stop in Ikeja, Leadership reported. The attackers allegedly opened fire, killing two police officers before making their escape.
