U.S. President Barack Obama Tuesday told supporters in some ways the 2012 presidential election is even more important than 2008 was. Obama told members of the National Finance Committee for the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account between Democratic National Committee and the president\'s re-election campaign, at the Hyatt Regencyhotel in Washington the task of rebuilding the economy has yet to be completed. \"It\'s understandable if people aren\'t as chipper as they were in 2008. There\'s going to be some skepticism, there\'s going to be some push back,\" Obama said during his five-minute speech in advance of a question-and-answer session. \"In some ways 2012 is even more important than four years ago. … We\'re building an economy built on making stuff and sending it around the world, stamped with \'Made in America.\'\" Obama said he expects the re-election campaign to be \"tough\" but he said, \"We\'re going to win this thing.\"
