German police announced on Friday that one person was killed and others were injured in a knife attack in a supermarket in Hamburg, the BBC reported Friday. 
Hamburg police said on Twitter that the attacker was arrested, adding that attack took place at intersection of Schlespotler and Hermann-Kaufmann streets.
