Incumbent President Daniel Ortega took an early lead in Nicaragua\'\'s presidential election on Sunday, according to preliminary results. Final results are expected on Monday. His main rivals are businessman Fabio Gadea, 79, and conservative ex-president Arnoldo Aleman. The winner will have to get more than 35% of the vote to avoid a run-off. Ortega has presided over economic growth, but has been criticised over a court ruling allowing him to stand again.
