The Korea Coast Guard launched search and rescue operations after a passenger ship carrying 392 people struck a sand carrier in waters off Incheon early Thursday. The passenger ship was heading to Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province from China when it collided with the sand carrier in waters seven-and-a-half kilometers east of Ul Island of Incheon on Thursday morning, according to the Korean (KBS WORLD) website. No casualties have been reported so far.
