A policeman was killed on Tuesday when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him while heading for the morning prayers in North Sinai, said a security source.

In statements to MENA, the source added that the martyr was heading to the mosque for the prayers.

A massive manhunt operation started in search for the terrorists who committed the crime, he added.
