A priest pleaded not guilty in New London, Conn., to charges of possession of child pornography after he turned himself in to police officials last week. The Rev. Dennis Carey, 65, entered a plea of not guilty Monday to possession of child pornography in Superior Court in New London, the Hartford (Conn.) Courant reported. Connecticut state police arrested Carey at the rectory of St. Paul In Chains parish last week and told police he has an addiction to child pornography. Carey also gave the police the password to his hard drive containing 338 files of suspected child pornography. \"He feels very, very bad about this,\" Carey\'s attorney said Tuesday. \"He\'s going to work for forgiveness for something that he\'s dealt with all of his life in the ministry. It\'s an addiction that he\'s going through and he needs help for it.\" Carey is facing a minimum prison sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years.
