Royal aides in Britain say Prince Harry\'s meeting with Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller is unrelated to her plan to make Jamaica a republic. The meeting Monday is scheduled as part of the prince\'s first solo royal tour of the Caribbean, which was to begin Friday with a visit to Belize, The Daily Telegraph reported Royal aides denied reports the meeting with Miller was added after the prime minister declared intentions to remove Britain\'s Queen Elizabeth II as Jamaica\'s head of state. The tour was arranged as part of the queen\'s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the newspaper said. Aides said the prince is on a trade mission. His trip includes visits to the Bahamas and Brazil. Aides say watching for the possibility of Argentinian protests in Brazil over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands but are not expecting any problems. The visit to Brazil marks the first time Prince Harry has worked as a trade ambassador. The royal family has been dividing the duties previously undertaken by Prince Andrew, who relinquished his role as trade ambassador last year.
