Russia\'s children rights ombudsman Pavel Astakhov will attend an annual conference of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children (ENOC) this week. The conference will be held in Warsaw on September 14-16. ENOC officials, representatives of rights organizations and observers are expected to attend the forum. The 2011 annual conference and general assembly will be dedicated to the issue of respect of the rights of children living in institutional care. Astakhov has been an associate member of ENOC since 2010.
