Cairo - Egypt Today
Russian senator Aleksey Pushkov criticized Monday Israel's refusal of the implementation of a truce in southern Syria.
The Israeli media have reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voiced his rejection of the US-Russian agreement to seize hostilities in southern Syria, out of fear of strengthening the Iranian presence in that region, Russian Sputnik news agency reported.
Pushkov wrote on his official twitter account that if Israel rejects the US-Russian agreement to halt hostilities in southern Syria, it should offer an alternative to end violence there.
