South Korea is pressuring China to stop the deportation of a group of North Korean defectors to their home country, officials said Wednesday. The move comes days after a South Korean humanitarian group, the Commission to Help North Korean Refugees, claimed that a total of 35 North Korean defectors were rounded up in China at the end of last month to be sent back home.
