Several people have died after a train derailed in O Porriño, northern Spain, emergency services said.

A dozen people were injured in the crash which happened as the train arrived at a station, local newspaper La Voz de Galicia reports.

The train was on the line between Vigo, northwest Spain, and the Portuguese town of Valença do Miño.
