A small plane carrying eight people crashed in suburban Vancouver near the Vancouver International Airport on Thursday afternoon, but so far there has been no report of casualties, local media reported. The plane, which crashed in Richmond around 4:15 p.m. (2315 GMT), turned around shortly after takeoff, but failed to land safely in the airport, crashing on the road.
