Suspected Somali pirates hijacked an Italian tanker on Tuesday off the coast of Oman, Italia media reported. The vessel was identified as the Enrico Ievoli, belonging to a Naples-based shipping company, Marnavi, the ANSA news agency said. Some six Italian nationals were believed to be aboard the tanker, according to television news channel, Sky TG24.
