Two suicide attackers detonated their explosives-packed vehicles just minutes apart at police stations in Baghdad on Wednesday, killing at least 11 people, security officials said. At least 42 others were wounded in the twin blasts at around 8:30 am (0530 GMT) in Hurriyah, north Baghdad, and Al-Wiyah, in the centre of the capital, according to officials from the ministries of interior and defence. The interior ministry official said the two attacks killed 11 people and wounded 48 others, while the defence ministry official put the toll at 15 dead and 42 injured. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity.
