The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the Syrian forces fight fierce battles with Daesh terrorist group in eastern Deir Ezzor Airport amid heavy shelling by the air force on the area.

The governmental troops besieged Daesh gunmen in Ayyash area in northwestern the city, SOHR head Rami Abdel Rahman was quoted by Al Hurra channel as saying on Saturday.
