The death toll in south-eastern Turkey rose to 459 on Wednesday , two days after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake devastated the region. Earlier Tuesday the death toll in south-eastern Turkey rose to 432, in the quake-hit province of Van in eastern Turkey ,the country''s Disaster and Emergency Administration said Tuesday. More than 1,300 people were also injured, the government''s crisis response unit said. By Tuesday, the government''s crisis response centre registered 2,262 collapsed buildings, more than double the 970 buildings counted the previous day.
