A Tibetan monk set himself on fire and died on Monday in a restive area of southwest China, a rights group and witness said, months after a reported self-immolation prompted a crackdown by authorities. The London-based Free Tibet said the 29-year-old monk, called Tsewang Norbu, set himself on fire in Sichuan province's Daofu county at noon and died of his injuries. A hotel receptionist near the scene confirmed the incident to AFP.
