Two trains collided in southern Poland on Saturday, injuring around 50 people, police said, adding that emergency services were at the scene and fatalities could not be ruled out. Witnesses quoted by Polish media said the engine and two compartments of one train had been derailed in the accident in Szczekociny at around 2000 GMT. \"About 50 people have been injured, fatalities cannot be excluded. A rescue operation is ongoing,\" local police commissioner Andrzej Swieboda told AFP. Prime Minister Donald Tusk was travelling to the scene, a government statement said.
