Around 20 people were killed early Friday in southern China when a tanker truck full of gasoline exploded after colliding with another truck in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong, a news report said, according to dpa. Another 14 people were injured by the accident, which occurred at 4:34 am (2034 Thursday GMT) in the provincial capital Guangzhou, the Xinhua news agency quoted local authorities as saying. Most of the victims were workers at a timber mill by the side of the road, which was set on fire by the blaze, the report quoted unnamed sources as saying.
