Two non-commissioned officers were killed on Tuesday in a shootout with criminals in Qwesna, Menoufiya.

A force of Menoufiya security directorate was tracking down criminal elements in the area. When the force approached their hotbed, the criminals opened fire against them. The security men fired back.

The bodies of the two policemen were carried to Qwesna morgue. A manhunt operation started to arrest the criminal elements.
