Two terrorists were killed Friday in a firefight with police in Fayyoum, a security source said.
The shooting erupted after the troops approached a house, where the terrorists were hiding on the Cairo-Fayyoum highway, the source told MENA.
A large amount of ammunition and machine guns were seized.
