Ukraine\'s former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Thursday denounced her trial as a \"political lynching\" as she gave her final statement in a process that could see her jailed for seven years. \"This trial is a classic case of political lynching,\" said Tymoshenko, who is charged with abuse of power over gas deals signed with Russia in 2009. \"No document has ever proved any guilt. They (the authorities) have falsified this entire affair,\" she told the court.
