Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and their wishes to the friendly people of America of further progress and prosperity.

 

The minister expressed their pride in the historic strategic relations between the two countries and people. This came during the reception ceremony held by President Donald Trump for the leaders and heads of delegations of the world countries participating in the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The minister praised the advanced relations and partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States in all fields. He also hailed the strategic role played by the United States in resolving issues and crises of the Middle East through enhancing joint cooperation with the countries of the region, in order to overcome all challenges, foremost of which is extremism and terrorism in all their forms and organizations.
