The U.S. will offer aid estimated at 140 million dollars to the Lebanese government for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, U.S. Department of State announced Wednesday.
The Lebanese government said that it needed two billion and 800 million dollars to address the Syrian refugees crisis, as Al Hurra channel news reported.
U.S. president Donald Trump, in a press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, lauded Lebanon's efforts to protect its borders from the terrorist groups and promised to continue U.S. aid.
