First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi left Cuban capital of Havana for Quito in Ecuador on Thursday evening. Rahimi is scheduled to meet with Ecuador’s high-ranking officials and attend Iran-Ecuador Joint Economic Commission there. Iran’s first vice president met with Cuban officials and discussed way for expansion of bilateral ties. He concluded five cooperation pacts with Cuba in different trade areas. During his stay in Ecuador, Rahimi will hold talks with the country\'s senior officials and visit industrial and agricultural projects that are currently under construction in cooperation with Iran.
